Pros and cons of StudySets - Psychology app for iPhone and iPad

StudySets - Psychology app good for

This is BY FAR the best Psychology program out there designed for students in preliminary Psych studies (advanced HS, or Intro college Psych). I have been teaching HS Psychology for 7 years, and recently took on AP teaching responsibilities. It’s like this guy wrote a program designed to beat the AP exam !!. (I’m not complaining as my bonus is tied to the higher scores on that exam). The interface is seamless and he definitely knows exactly what topics are covered. He has all the definitions, schools of thought in one place with easy review – GREAT !!! – I wish I had this stuff when I was a student – What a Find !!
Amazing application for students in psychology major highly recomend.
This is a great application for the review of intro psych. Would like if the developers could either add postmodernistic theoretical orientations to this app or create another that focuses on that specifically. Theories such as Solution focused therapy, Narrative therapy, MRI & their founders,Insoo KimBerg, Steve DeShazer, Michael White, Bill Ohanlan, etc. are more in line with present day psychological practice.
This App is very helpful. I have the AP Psych test coming up this week, and I was very pleased to find this App. I thank you very much for compiling all of this information. Apps for the other AP subjects would be sweet too. Thanks again. - Tyler
i used this app last year so that i could always be able to study for my psychology AP. because all of this information was readily available to me whenever i wanted, i studied more and i got a 5 on my AP. i highly recomend this application.
Had the lite app but not enough. It had just enough info to get me intrigued. Psychology major + its really nice having all this info at my fingertips without needing 5 books. Please add the DSM-IV + itll get a full 5 star rate.

Some bad moments

This is a review of senior year in highschool. It does not have any significant study value at college level. The terms dictionary is very incomplete, and topics are very vague. Its on The right path but the app deffinatly could be improved. I would love to see a mobile version of the DSM-IV
This was a great idea which was poorly executed. App offers VERY limited information -- as in almost no information at all. Better to just go to Wikipedia online as it would provide more information. Its the first app Ive downloaded that I wished I could take back. It wouldnt even be worth downloading even if it were free.
This is a terrible way to spend three dollars. Limited basic information. Dont know why i upgraded from the free lite version. Very disappointed. For 7th grade level intro. Do Not Buy!! I cant believe people rate this highly!!
This is not an inclusive study set. There is no information about Melanie Klein, Anna Freud or their theories. I am sure others are missing as well. An update that has this information and more would surely be nice.
Not much different from the Lite version. Topics are very limited. I rather bookmark a website.
